Mary Jo Duckett, age 85, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024.

Mary is survived by her children: Michael T. (Barbara) Duckett, Kathleen A. (Howard) Menn, Robert J. (Ann) Duckett, and Joseph L. Duckett; grandchildren: Stephanie (Andrew) Kuipers, Joshua (Bethany) Forsmark, Matthew (Michelle) Duckett, Andrew (Kylie) Duckett, Samuel (Taylor) Duckett, and Shelby Duckett; great-grandchildren: Ryleigh Kuipers, Tristan Forsmark, Brennley Duckett, Madison Kuipers, Bennett Forsmark, Taysom Duckett, and Avery Duckett; and her siblings: Barbara Schuirmann, Teri (Brian) Moxley, John (Barbara) Bonk, and Eileen (Clarence Witt) Rozborski.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Duckett; daughter, Anne M. Forsmark; granddaughter, Sarah Forsmark; grandson, Jacob Forsmark; and siblings: Kathie Bonk, Bette Novak, and Tom Bonk.

Mary worked at Burrell Colour Lab for 25 years. She was a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church. Mary was a veracious book reader and collector. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary was a devoted fan of composer, Andre Rieu.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 101 w Burrell Dr., Crown Point, IN 46307, with Fr. Bill Novak officiating. Additional Visitation will take place at the Church half hour prior.

Interment to follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Crown Point, IN.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Mary’s name to St. Matthias Catholic Church.
