Kay was a person that most women would aspire to be like. Known for her love of children, sweet nature, and love for the Lord. She cherished her husband and was an amazing entertainer in her home. My favorite was her peanut butter rice krispie bars. I just loved a sweet smile from Kay accompanied by a genuine hug at church. I consider it such an honor to call her my forever friend. I love you, dear Kay, any will see you again some day

Prayers for peace. Kay was such a bright light. I loved the bond I had with both she and Mr Hubbard. Kay was always my accompanist for solo and ensemble. They even traveled to be at my wedding. I always loved sharing time and conversation with them.

Kay ALWAYS greeted you with that same sweet smile and a kind word. She never neglected to inquire about how "you were doing" or asking about your family.

Kay will be missed by many. She will be remembered as a lovely soul with a smile that was contagious. My daughter had her for a teacher in preschool, that's when I first met Kay. Our paths crossed many times over the years, she played piano for my children at competitions and she would accompany my daughter when she sang in our church. I always enjoyed her piano playing in church, she played with such ease, like it was second nature to her. She was a great Christian woman of whom I was very fond of. My deepest sympathies to the family.

I have trouble remembering a Time that I saw her that they did not have a smile on her face! She and I were both piano accompanists for the Crown Point kids in their competitions over the years. We would sometimes trade kids, or refer each other when a kid couldn't find somebody. But we both made sure everyone had a piano player when needed. What a sweet kind soul to have had the privilege of knowing. Friends for many years. She is missed by so many! Heartfelt condolences to BJ.

To the Hubbard family, I am so sorry to hear of Kay's passing. She was a great person and a great friend. She will be sorely missed; but rest assured, she is not suffering anymore. Kay and I went to church together and she taught my son, Jason, Buche, in sunday school. Thoughts and prayers go with you.
