MARTHA JEAN RATHGABER age 73 of Dallas TX formerly of Gary passed away Thursday April 27 2006. Survived by 4 daughters: Michele (Allen) Mummert of Atlanta GA Stephanie Rathgaber of Newport Beach CA Paula (Daniel) Gomez of San Clemente CA & Justine (Lee) Jobe of Dallas TX 4 grandchildren: Marissa & Matt Mummert & Lauren & Corinne Gomez brother Frank Kylsa of Merrillville and nephews & nieces. Preceded in death by husband Edward and 5 brothers & sisters. Mrs. Rathgaber was a former member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church and a graduate of Tolleston High School. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville on Tuesday from 2-6 P.M. Rosary Service at 3:00 P.M. Vigil Service at 4:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 3 2006 at 9:30 A.M. from the Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 10:00 A.M. from St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Evanick officiating. At rest Calvary Hill Cemetery Dallas Texas.

Mom Your passing came as a total shock but all your daughters take comfort knowing that your last days were very happy ones spent in the town where you grew up visiting your lifelong friends and the family who loved you. I know that you missed Dad and I take comfort imagining your reunion with him. At the moment you entered eternal life I know he was there to greet you. I can hear him saying Come on Jean. Lets go!
