Martha A. Crabb, age 86, of Michigan City, IN passed away on Monday January 22, 2024 at Northwest Health in Valparaiso, IN.

Martha was born on November 22, 1937 in Limestone, Alabama to Garland and Verna Irene White, who preceded her in death. On June 12, 1955 she married David Noah Crabb in Mississippi, who also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children: Angela (Mark) Harper, Peggy (Arnold) Grub, David Michael Crabb and Debra McKissack-Crabb; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; Brother: Jim White; Sister: Judy Nowak; she was preceded in death by: 1 grandson: Brent; daughter-in-law: Sheila Pate-Crabb; brothers: Gordon, Buck and Joe White.

She was a long-time member of Full Gospel Church in Michigan City where she sang gospel music and was a song leader. She loved to start each day with a time of prayer, reading her Bible, and Interceding for her family, friends, and people that she knew needed help. She had several jobs during her life as she worked hard to help provide for her family. She was dedicated and dependable always doing the best possible work she could with whatever task she took. She enjoyed reading, music and visiting with her friends in her spare time.

Visitation will take place on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, located at 613 Washington St. Michigan City, IN 46360, with service to follow at 12:00 Noon, with Pastor Dennis Pickens of Full Gospel Church officiating.

The burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
