MARK J. MULLINS age 51 a longtime Portage resident passed away Monday May 24 2010. Survived by his daughter Ivone Mullins of Chesterton mother Beatrice Mullins of Portage four sisters: Cindy (Dave) Carlile of Valparaiso Marsha Mullins of Canada Cheryl (Terry) Butler of Portage and Michelle Mullins of Chesterton. Preceded in death by father Tilden Matt and infant brother Michael. Mark was part of the Nazarene Church family. He was a graduate of P.H.S. and Trinity Bible College ND. and sang with the Traveling Troubadours. He was a Navy veteran and served as a Chaplain Assistant. He was the owner/broker of MJM Mortgage Portage. Mark loved people fishing and was an avid Cubs fan. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and numerous lifetime friends. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 2700 Willowcreek Rd. Portage Thursday May 27 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow promptly at 7:00 p.m. at Pruzin Brothers Chapel.

I am saddened to hear about Mark he was always one of my favorite cousins and I love him. I send all my love and prayers to Aunt Bea and the girls and their families I wish I could have been there for you all during this difficult time. I love and miss you all Peggy

I will so miss his laughter. He never failed to make me laugh when I talked with him. He was the eternal optimist. I cant wait to enjoy a good long visit with him again someday.
