Marjorie W. Guthrie (nee Zurbriggen), age 99, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024.

Marjorie is survived by her son, William Guthrie; and brother, William Zurbriggen.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Harl Guthrie; parents: William and Clara Zurbriggen; and daughter, Christine Guthrie.

Marjorie served as a bookkeeper in the automotive industry for 14 years and went on to serve as bookkeeper for the construction industry for 30 years. Marjorie really enjoyed music, books, gardening, cooking, sports, and her beloved pets. She was a devoted member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Our hearts go out to Marge's family. She was a good neighbor for our 40 years in Liberty Park. We didn't see her much, but it was comforting just knowing she was there. God bless you Marge.

Our condolences, Skip and Bruce. She was a wonderful Aunt and Great-Aunt and will be missed dearly. Much love and may she rest in peace.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Marge. I never met Marge but I felt like I knew her because Bruce McDermott is my cousin and he and Bill Guthrie always sent me such cute pictures of Marge over the years. She loved football and I do too. Sending prayers and love!
