MARJORIE M. BLAIR age 89 of Crown Point formerly of Texas passed away Monday June 09 2008. Survived by 3 children: Dr. William E. (Elizabeth) Blair Jr. of Lorena TX Bridget (late Michael) Bowman of Crown Point & Dr. Jeffrey (Su Anne) Blair of Richmond Virginia 11 grandchildren: Sean (Christine) Bowman of Schererville Becky (Jason) Lindsey of Valparaiso Jeff (Tiffany) Bowman of Crown Point Bill & Chris Blair of LaPorte Maggie Murphy & Matthew Blair of Lorena Texas Jonathan Bennett & Amanda Blair of Richmond Virginia 4 great-grandchildren: Cameron Landon & Kennedy Lindsey and Jack Bowman sister Magdalene (late Arthur) Bryan of DeMotte. Preceded in death by husband William and nine brothers & sisters. Mrs. Blair was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church Rosary Sodality St. Nicholas Apostolate and helped with the Friday Fish Frys. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #289 and was a pianist for the Midwest Slovanic & St. Michaels Church Choirs. Marjorie was a graduate of Froebel High School Class of 1936 and a retired office manager from Emil Perrotta Plastering & Accoustical Tile Co. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville on Thursday from 2-8 P.M. with a Rosary at 2:30 P.M. a Prayer service at 3:00 P.M. and an American Legion Auxiliary Unit #289 service at 3:30 P.M. Funeral services will be held Friday June 13 2008 at 9:30 A.M. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 10:00 A.M. from St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Evanick officiating.
