Marie T. Spencer Nee Urban, age 72, of Crown Point, IN, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2004, at St. Anthony Hospice in Crown Point She is survived by her 7 Children: Janice Spencer Peterson of Crown Point Edward Spencer of Florida Judith Doug Rottier of Highland Robert Spencer of Crown Point Jenifer Dominic Pitzel of Crown Point Joan Joseph Mueller of Florida Jean Russell Whitmer of Crown Point 8 Grandchildren: Christine, Matthew, Lou, Karl Eva, Wayne, Joseph & Celena Two Sisters: Sister Margaret Urban of Hammond Leona Vilianoff of L.O.F.S. One Brother: Frank McEllis of Merrillville Sisters-in-law: Edna McCauley & Rosela Cole Special Friend: Mary Anne & Eugene Tompi of Portage, IN Many Nieces & Nephews She was preceded in Death by Husband: Clarence Spencer Parents: Tom & Mary Urban Brothers: Tom & Bill Urban Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 26, 2004 at 10:30 AM DIRECTLY AT St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 E. Joliet St. Crown Point with Fr. Pat Kalich officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Crown Point, IN. Friends may call at Geisen Funeral Home, 109 N. East St., Crown Point on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday morning at the Church from 10:00 AM till the time of service. Mrs. Spencer was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar & Rosary Sodality. She loved her children, grandchildren and many friends. She also enjoyed bingo, reading books, cooking and sports. Marie was a registered nurse, graduated from nurses training in 1952 and Froebel High School in 1949. In lieu or flowers Masses are preferred.
