MARIE E. THOMPSON age 96 of Gary passed away Wednesday May 16 2012. Survived by son David (Marianne) Thompson of Gary two daughters: Frances (late William) Wrona of FL & Patricia (Eddie) Shufford of Gary 7 grandchildren: Lori (Frank) Marvin Daniel (Kathy) Boatwright Tannite Shufford Eddie (Falone) Shufford Christopher Shufford Randy (Rose) Thompson Chris (Kurt) Courtney 13 great-grandchildren two daughters-in-law Patricia Thompson of Merrillville and Thelma Thompson of Gary. Preceded in death by husband Clyde two sons Bernard & Raymond Thompson grandson Scottie Shufford granddaughter Debbie Thompson brother Ralph Caroll and sister Bernice Vance. Mrs. Thompson was a sales clerk at Arts Bakery in Gary for 20 years and at Hibels Restaurant in Gary with 30 years of service. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway Merrillville) on Sunday May 20 2012 from 2:00-6:00 P.M. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 P.M. at the Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Rev. Jerry Ulrich officiating. She will be laid to rest at Prairie Cemetery in Oblong IL on Monday May 21 2012 at 2:00 P.M.
