MARIAN J. McCAY (nee Jurczak), age 70 of Crown Point, formerly of Hammond, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017.
Survived by her beloved children: Julie (Curtis) Brack, Wendy McGarrity, Lisa (Ken) Stone, and Dennis McCay; 11 grandchildren: Michelle (Jerry), Michael, Brandon, Katelyn, Brittney, Bradley, Chloe, Dustin, Maelynn, Kristen, and Conner: five great-grandchildren: Austin, Addison, Reyna, Wyatt, Alice, many nieces, nephews; best friends: John & Carol Beasley and Debbie Johnson. Preceded in death by husband, Denny McCay; two brothers: Ed and Jerry Jurczak; and sister Francis Bowsher.
Marian was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who adored her family and will be dearly missed. She loved playing bingo, going to the casino, and Elvis Presley. She endured many fisherwomen battle wounds, but loved fishing with her family. She had a great sense of humor and made everyone laugh who spent time with her. She courageously battled respiratory diseases for the past 10 years.
Family and friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service, 811 E. Franciscan Dr. (south of St. Rd. 231 on St. Rd. 55), Crown Point, on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be 11:00 am. Friday, January 27, 2017 from Pruzin & Little Chapel with Rev. Ray Tucker officiating. At rest Memory Lane Memorial Cemetery.
