Marcia C. Warren

Marcia C. Warren, age 76, of Merrillville, IN, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Munster Med Inn. Marcia is survived by her sister: Doris Roy Ruehl; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and her fiancée: Vernon Schreiber of Merrillville. She was preceded in death by her parents: Clarence and Juno Bernice Warren. Marcia was retired from Ameritech with over 41 years of service in December 1992. She started with the Crown Point Telephone Company in 1951. She was an IBEW Union Steward for over 20 years, Charter President of the Crown Point Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority and a life member of The Telephone Pioneers of America. Marcia enjoyed traveling and sightseeing. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 9:30 AM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre NOTE: NEW LOCATION- 2 blocks east of Broadway at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN, with John P. Starr officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home with private burial at Calumet Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 11, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre.
