M. PAUL JACOBS, age 93 of Merrillville, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015. He is survived by his son Stephen (Lynne) Jacobs; daughter Anne (late Keith) Appleton; granddaughter Christina (Robert) Clark; grandson Andrew Appleton; granddaughter-in-law Christina Appleton; two great-granddaughters: Emily & Bonnie Clark. Preceded in death by wife Patricia and grandson Jacob Appleton. Mr. Jacobs was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Merrillville and a former member of the Glen Park Masonic Lodge #732. He was a World War II Coast Guard veteran who served in the Asian and European Theaters and a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Paul was a retired maintenance supervisor from Carson Pirie Scott & Co. in Hammond. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway, Merrillville) on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 P.M. from the Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Pastor Carolyn officiating. At rest Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary.
