Luke Jeffrey Sturm, age 8, passed away after his lengthy illness on Thursday, September 3, 2009. He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey Sturm and Sandy Ripley Sturm; his brothers, Nathaniel and Gabriel; his grandmothers, Irene Ripley of Valparaiso, IN and Eleanor Sturm of Saginaw, MI; his grandparents Terry and Connie Ripley of Demotte, IN and Richard and Virginia Sturm of Gladwin, MI; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre NOTE: NEW LOCATION-2 blocks east of Broadway at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN, with Chaplain Shirley Short, MDiv. officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Special Education Learning Facility SELF School at 750 Ransom Rd., Valparaiso, IN 46385.
