Ludrick Kukulinski

May 26, 1923 - November 28, 2009

Ludrick Kukulinski, age 86, of Crown Point, IN, formerly of South Holland, IL passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Chicagoland Christian Village. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sophie, 3 children; Ludrick Jr. Marianne Kukulinski, Michael Kukulinski and Marlene Kenneth Sledz, 5 grandchildren; Victor, Nickolas, Stepphaine, Amanda and Mary, 6 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters; Stella, Helen, and Alice. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre NOTE: NEW LOCATION- 2 blocks east of Broadway at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN with Chaplain Frank Klobucar officiating. Interment at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville, IN. Visitation was held on Sunday, November 29, 2009 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point, IN. Ludrick worked at Republic Steel for 30 years. After retiring in 1986 he moved to Jamestown, TN before returning to the Chicagoland area, 10 years ago. Mr. Kukulinski served in the Army Infantry during WWII and Korean War. Dear Family, I just learned from Aunt Kay Kutris that Uncle Lou passed away in November. I would like to sent my condolences to you all. Aunt Sophia you will be in my prayers. My first memories of Uncle Lou is in his military uniform back in WWII when I was a little girl. He was home on leave I guess and came up to Grandma's house on the hill. Papaw, I am so sorry I couldn't be there with you I miss you. I know you are in a better place with no pain. I love you with all my heart and the thought of you not being here is the hardest thing for me as well as others. You always saw the best in everyone and your smile could light up a room. I will never forget all the good times and my 1st and only doll house you made me and all the time you took building it. I know that you will always be in our hearts and you will truly be missed. You were a huge part of my life growing up so caring, loving and a joy to be around. I know you can't read this but I feel like you are right here with me while I am writing this. It is going to be hard to imagine you're not a phone call away anymore. It is just too much to take, 1st Mombo last year and now you.. I couldn't deal with anything else right now.
