Mrs. Hegland was born August 16, 1937 in Walkerton, IN to John and Beulah (Lawson) Zernick, both of whom preceded her in death Surviving are sons Bill Krick of Chesterton, IN and Randy Hegland of New Paris, IL, daughters Kathy Curtis of Indianapolis and Lisa Weber of Apple River, IL, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, ½ sisters Paula Rice of Rancho Cacumonga, CA, Lynette (Charley) Lucas of Lodi, CA, and Pat (Stan) Severi of Lodi, CA, ½ brother Tom (Gail) Brennen of Las Vegas, She was preceded in death by ½ brother Michael Brennen. Mrs. Hegland had been employed in Quality Control at National Can. She was a member of Village Green Baptist Church.
