Lucille L. Storey

Lucille L. Storey, age 85, of Michigan City, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Life Care Center of Michigan City. Services will be held Wednesday, June 3 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Reshan officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Carlisle Funeral Home, with a memorial service by American Legion Post #37 Auxiliary and 8/40. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City. Mrs. Storey was born May 15, 1924 in Michigan City to Herman and Martha (Rehbein) Steinborn, both of whom preceded her in death. On November 20, 1941 in Michigan City she married Roger T. Storey, he survives in Michigan City. Also surviving are daughters Barbara (Gloria Lynn) Radecki of Las Vegas; Donna (Mary Divittorio) Storey of Rio Rancho, NM and Susan (Joseph) Koziel of New Carlisle, IN; sons Ronald (Brenda) Storey of Decatur, IN and Steven (Sue) Storey of Elkhart, IN; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and special niece Edna Kaeppler of South Bend, She was preceded in death by 1 grandchild, brothers Richard, Eldon and John Steinborn, and sister Miriam (Wayne) Storey. Mrs. Storey had been a homemaker. She was a member and past president of the American Legion Post #37 Auxiliary and Salon 8/40 #228, past Chapeau Cabane of #276. St. Paul Lutheran Church, WELCA, and Fellowship Club. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or donor choice.
