LOUIS J. SOLICH age 85 of Merrillville passed away Sunday March 21 2010 Survived by five daughters: Linda (Ed) Lach of Crown Point Carol (Jim) Rolfe of Valparaiso Mary (Eric) Veltri of Crown Point Janean Stasak of Merrillville Sandra Solich of Merrillville two sons: David (Linda) Solich of Merrillville Jerry (Gina) Solich of California 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren brother: Bill (Violet) Solich of Merrillville sister: Genevieve Mestrich of Wheatfield. Preceded in death by wife: Joan daughter: Barbara great grandson: David Jr sister: Lucille Solich brother: George Solich. Louis was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Church and was a retired pipefitter from U.S. Steel with 43 years service. He was a proud Marine Corps Veteran of WWII.
