Lola “Curly” Suzich, age 64, of Michigan City, died Sunday, April 26 at St. Anthony Memorial Health CareCenter. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Carlisle Funeral Home. There will be no services. Cremation will take place. Mrs. Suzich was born May 3, 1944 in Wooten, KY to Henry and Julia (Browning) Fields, both of whom preceded her in death. On May 6, 1993, in Michigan City, she married Joseph Suzich, he passed away June 6, 2007. Surviving are sons Ossie (Dixie) Manns, Russell Manns, and William Streeting, all of Michigan City, grandchildren Amber, Michael, Anthony, Christopher and Samantha, great-grandchild Isabelle, and sister Bobbie Ryder of Knox, IN.
Mrs. Suzich had been a supervisor with Howmet Corp. for 32 yrs. She enjoyed spending quality time with her sister and visiting casinos. She was a member of Women of the Moose #935. She was an avid bingo player. Mrs. Suzich was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Hospice.
