Linda S. Luchene (nee Lech), age 74, of Hobart, IN, formerly of Merrillville, IN, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024.

Linda is survived by her 2 children: Don Eaves & Donna (Jeff) Dawson; 6 grandchildren: Ronald Wilcox, Jeremy (Annette) Wilcox, Brandon Wilcox, Nicholas Braden, Andrew (Faith) Braden & Jeffrey Dawson, Jr.; 4 great-grandchildren: Kyden Wilcox, Jordan Wilcox, Scarlett Braden & Abel Braden; and sister, Judy (late Paul) Riley.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Dennis; brother, Henry Victor Lech, Jr.; and parents: Henry & Stella Lech.

Linda was born & raised in North Gary, IN and was a graduate of Bishop Noll High School, Class of 1957. She was a longtime employee of Honeybaked Ham in Merrillville with over 30 years of service. Linda was a very loving wife and mother. She was especially a very loving and caring grandmother.

A Private Service was held for Linda’s family and she was laid to rest next to her husband at Maplewood Memorial Cemetery in Crown Point.
