LILLIAN (LEOKADJA) P. KOVACEVIC, age 91, of Portland, ME, formerly of Merrillville, IN, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013. Survived by son, Thomas Kovacevic of South Portland, ME and daughter, Cynthia (Stefanie) Kovacevic of Independence, MO; grandchildren: Thomas (Jennifer) Lancaster of Portland, ME and Sarah (Bryan) Wright of Independence, MO; great-grandchildren, Dominik and Harley Lancaster-Woodruff; sisters-in-law: Rose Dominik of Hobart, Elsie Dominik of Monticello, IN, Violet Izzi of IL; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Thomas W. Kovacevic; two brothers and two sisters. Lillian was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Merrillville and the Marion Choir. She was a member of PNA Lodge #3141 and Daughters of Isabella. Lillian was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 207 and the Northwest Indiana Retirees Club. She was a loving homemaker.
