LESLIE OTTO FLEMING , age 78, of Crown Point, IN, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2003, at his home. He is survived by his wife: Mary of 60 years. Son: Leslie Alan Karen Fleming of Cedar Lake, IN 5 Grandchildren: Patrick, Julie & Jodie Hopp of Michigan James Jennifer Fleming of Cedar Lake and Jen Fleming of Bloomington, IN 1 Great-Grandson: Zachary Fleming of Cedar Lake Sister-in-law & Brother-in-law: Bob & Ginny Waller of Ohio He was preceded in death by: Daughter-Pamala and husband Jim Hopp Brother-Gerald and wife Ruth Duykers Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 1, 2003 at 9:30 AM from First United Methodist Church, 352 S. Main, Crown Point, IN th Rev. Dennis Shock Officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, IN. Friends may call at Geisen Funeral Home, 109 N. East St., Crown Point on Friday, October 31, 2003 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, at thechurch, from 9:00 AM until time of service. Mr. Fleming was a member of First United Methodist Church and served as the church Trustee for many, many years.He was also a member of the VFW Post #6446, the American Legion Fred Schmidt Post #20, Crown Point, retired from Pipefitters Local #597 of Chicago and was a Marine Corp. Veteran of World War II. Leslie was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to First United Methodist Church of Crown Point or St. Anthony Hospice.
