Larry G. Batchelor, Jr., age 59, of Hebron, IN, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024.

Larry is survived by his wife, Cindy Batchelor (nee Walker); daughters: Brittney Redmond, Lindsey Batchelor, Melissa (Kevin) Carman; grandchildren: Brooklynn, Alivia, Myla, Avery; brother, Leon (Christina) Batchelor; and sister, Patty (Jim) Gillette.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents: Larry and Evelyn Batchelor.

Larry served 24 years in the Army National Guard, and was deployed and proudly served in Operation Iraqi Freedom 2008-2009. He worked at Pratt Industries in Valparaiso with 17 years of service. Larry was a devoted member of the American Legion in Kouts, IN, and a die hard Chicago Bears fan.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Larry’s Life on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at American Legion Post 301, 959 W Indiana Ave., Kouts, IN 46347 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Sorry for your loss, sending hugs and prayers.

I could not have asked for a better dad or role model. You worked hard took care of your family and loved your country wife kids and grandkids so much I promise we knew it we felt it and it’s as strong as the ache right now missing you in this world. I didn’t expect this to happen so soon in my life and I just want to say I love you dad I hope you know how much I really loved you.

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Larry was good man and very sweet. Larry and I were in the class of 83' at NNHS.

I've known Larry since I was a little girl. He was like an "adopted" older brother, as he was friends with my older brothers. He was a good man and he will be missed. Thoughts and prayers are with Larry's family. R.I.P. my friend.
