Larry Charles Beilfuss

Larry Charles Beilfuss, age 63, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Susan Hayden Beilfuss, children, Julie Chris Metzger of LaCrosse, IN, Sarah Jed Chickadaunce of Rensselaer, IN, Matthew Beilfuss of Crown Point, IN, grandchildren, Hayden Chickadaunce, Addison Metzger, sister, Carol Smolen, brothers-in-law, Jeff Kathy Hayden , Jim Kim Hayden, surrogate grandchildren, Morgan, Madison, and Deacon Johnson and Jordyn, Colton, and Josie Reed, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Louis and Hazel Wolfe Beilfuss and brother, Louis Beilfuss. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre, NOTE: NEW LOCATION at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN with Pastor Dan Barnum-Steggerda officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Larry was a 1963 graduate of Dyer Central High School and served six years in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a former employee of Commercial Wallpaper and Miller and Company, a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Crown Point, IN, a long-time leader in the Lake County 4-H Horse and Pony and a member of the Lake County Agricultural Society.
