Larry A. Hershman, age 69, of Valparaiso, IN passed away on Friday December 4, 2009 at Porter Hospital in Valparaiso. He is survived by his 2 sisters, Christine Lyle Monzulla of Hebron and Charlene Lon VanDenburg of Crown Point; friend, Debbie Kingery of Chesterton; aunt, Irene Karlson of Lowell; 2 Nieces & 2 Nephews He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence & Violet Hershman. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 12:00 Noon at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre, NOTE: NEW LOCATION- 2 blocks east of Broadway at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN. with Pastor Mark Wilkins officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on Wednesday. Cremation to follow the service. Larry graduated from Crown Point High School, served in U.S. Army and retired from Western & Southern Life Insurance Company as a sales representative. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR.
