Kostas Randitsas, age 77, of Lake Station, IN, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024.
Kostas is survived by his wife, Ekaterini Randitsas (nee Skourtis) of 53 years; children: George (Evangelia Bouga) Randitsas, Patro (Konstantina Esermpekoglou) Randitsas, Paraskavi “Voula” (Vasili) Tsampis; 7 grandchildren: Katherine (Wes) Breland, Kostas (Kerribeth) Randitsas, Evaggelos Zamantzas, Eleftheria Randitsas, Konstadinos Randitsas, Lambreni Tsampis, Giorgia Tsampis; and 3 great-grandchildren: Loukis and Eleni Breland, and Asa Randitsas. Kostas is also survived by his siblings; Goddaughter, Angela Rousis; and his many nieces and nephews.
Kostas was preceded in death by his parents: George and Paraskevi Randitsas; and 2 brothers.
Kostas was born in Klenia-Korinthias, Greece on April 21, 1946. He spent his youth working and supporting his family as the oldest son of the seven siblings. Times were tough after World War II, but he did his best in raising livestock and being a shepherd. Kostas immigrated to the U.S. in 1968 and became a steelworker with Inland Steel. He gave over 30 years of dedicated service before retiring.
Kostas was a faithful member of Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral. He was always there to help his family and friends in need. He loved to cook his BBQ lamb for Easter every year, his favorite holiday.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 8000 Madison St, Merrillville, IN 46410 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Ted Poteres and Fr. Dimitri Burikas officiating.
Visitation will take place half hour prior to Funeral Services.
Interment to follow at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, IN.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Kostas’s name to Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
