KENNETH W. MERRELL, age 63 of Merrillville, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia; sister, Dianna (Terry) Stewart; father, Wilton (late Mary) Merrell; uncles: Joe (Dorothy) Merrell, Jo Billy (Gale) Kilgore; aunts: JoNell Kilgore, Vergie Fannin, Gale (Don) Maddox, Mary Lou (late Jerry) Kilgore; many cousins and friends. Kenneth was employed as a I/N Tek in New Carlisle, IN for 43 years. He was a very intelligent man who really enjoyed his job and put in many many hours. He will be deeply missed and will be going to the iCloud, where he will join his mother, grandparents, and other family. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway, Merrillville) on Friday from 3:00-7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Rev. Joseph Vamos officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery.

Patty, I spoke to Ken on the phone 2 days before he passed away. I had the Honor and Privilege to know him for about 15 years, He was a Truely Amazing Person and a GREAT & Wonder Friend, he would always take time out of his busy work day just to call for even a few minutes say hi and see how I was doing, He was A Great Human and he talked about you often. I want to extend my Deepest Condolences to You and Your entire Family over this Immense Loss Ken as well as Yourself and Your Family will always be Part of me and will always remain in my Thoughts and Prayers Daily Please take care of Yourself Jim P.

Ken truly was great person. It was a privilege to have known and worked for him. He will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences goes out to his family and friends. The world is a lesser place without him.

Ken you were more of a father to me than my own. I both respected and loved you. Thank you for all you did for me over the years. Your passing has left a gaping wound in my heart.
