KATHERINE “KATHY” E. BARKER, age 64 of Portage, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021.

She is survived by three daughters: Brenda (Daniel) Rolland, Susan Barker, Cindy (Michael) Daraska, her special niece Dina (Bill) Lowe; 12 grandchildren: Frank, KoriBeth, Jacob, Sean, Emily, Kayla, Logan, Layla, Melissa, Michael (Annie), Kyle, and Karolyn; five great-grandchildren: Jeremaih, Rylie, Reece, Evelyn, and Jayden; her four brothers: Charles, Thomas, James (Aurora), John (Jessica) Graham; and her many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by husband Michael Barker and her parents Charles & Elaine Graham.

Kathy was a graduate of Richards Academy, Class of 1975 and attended Daily College.  She worked as an administrative assistant for Ryerson’s Steel with over 15 years of service.  She loved animals, especially her Bob and Jeffrey.  Kathy also loved to play bingo, taking spontaneous road trips, camping, and being with her grandchildren.  She was a member of American Legion Post #260 and enjoyed volunteering at Bonner Senior Center.  She will be greatly missed.

Family and friends may gather at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (2700 Willowcreek, Portage) on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 1:00-5:00 P.M.  Funeral services will follow at 5:00 P.M. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Pastor Ken Miller officiating.  Services will conclude at the chapel with cremation to follow.  Please remember, masks must be worn while attending services.
