June M. Wahner, age 63, of Glenwood, IL, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2009. June was a member of the International Association of Jim Beam Bottle and Specialties Club and was a volunteer at St. Margaret Hospital in Dyer. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Margaret Cunningham and sister, Marlene Binns. June is survived by her husband, Paul Wahner Jr. of Glenwood, IL; brother, Ron Cunningham of Portage; sister, Mary Riggs of Florida; nieces and nephews: Tim Cheryl Cunningham of Florida, Ken Kris Binns of Portage, Rhonda Roy Huddleston of Colorado, Heather Cunningham of Florida, Karen Steve Hanlon of Crown Point, Brian Andi Riggs of Florida, Sam Cunningham of Arizona and Gail Riggs of Florida; and loving great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville. Burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville. Friends may visit with the family, Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 2:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, 1030 North Clark St., Suite 320, Chicago, IL 60610.
