Mrs. June L. Johnson, age 78, of Michigan City, died Saturday, February 14, 2009 at St. Anthony Memorial Health Care, Michigan City.

Services will be held Wednesday, February 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Carlisle Funeral Home with Rev. John D. Hall officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Michigan City. Mrs. Johnson was born June 2, 1930 in Terre Haute, IN to Edson R. and Marcella (Pendergast) Murray, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Harry H. Johnson on September 1, 1950 in Terre Haute, IN. He survives in Michigan City.

Also surviving are son Robert H. (Rosanne) Johnson of Redmond, WA; three grandchildren, Lindsay, Bradley and Mitchell Johnson. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard M. Johnson and one sister, Shirley Ann Williams. She was a member of Pottawattomie Country Club. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church.
