She is survived by husband of 42 years, David; three children: David Burkhardt Jr., Rebecca (Nathan) Ondack, and Heather Burkhardt; twelve grandchildren: 2 great-grandchildren; parents, George and Lois Uhter; sisters, Evonne (Kevin) Molchan and Rita (Gary) Fields; brother, Michael (Gail) Uhter.
Julie was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Crown Point. She was a clerk at Strack and Van Til for 19 years. Julie attended Lowell High School. She was a loving, wife, mother, and grandmother.
Family and Friends may gather for a memorial visitation at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 250 S. Indiana Avenue, Crown Point on May 20, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Matthew Canady officiating.
