Mrs Whitesell was the best kindergarden teacher ever. We'll always remember building our igloo project with her out of milk jugs. We will all miss you. Alivia Divine & Hannah Carter
Pam Randolph left a message on August 17, 2009:
Both of my children had Mrs. Whitesell for kindergarten, Lydia in 1997-98, and Alex 1998-99. I volunteered at the school, and often helped Mrs. Whitesell during the years my children attended there. She was a dedicated and fantastic teacher, as well as a wonderful person. I am so sorry I did not find out about her passing soon enough to have attended the service with my children. We are saddened by the loss of Mrs. Whitesell, especially at such a young age.

Judy was the warmest person I think I have ever met. Even though I've seen her less frequently as I moved away, I will never forget how open she made her home to me when I was little and encouraged both Justin and I to use the computer and investigate life. When you were the presence of Judy, you knew that you were loved and fully supported. Dave, Justin, and Angela, I'm so sorry for your loss and I know you are feeling it immensely. I love you all and if there's anything at all I can do, I would love to do it so please let me know.

I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Whitesell's passing. I've known Angela since elementary school, though we had lost touch since college until recently. I remember her parents well, and her mother was a wonderful woman. I would have liked to be there for the wake to share my condolences in person. I understand that she put up an amazing fight, and I know she is now at peace. I wish for that same peace for Angie and her family. I'll keep you all in my thoughts.

I am so sorry for your loss. My first year teaching, 7 years ago, I went to a kindergarten conference with Judy and a couple other teachers. This was the first time I met Judy. With in the first hour of the trip, I felt as though I had known her forever. What a sweet, fun, caring person. I was much younger than her, 28, at the time, and I had a great time hanging out with her. I wanted you to know what kind of impression she left on me, even though I had only known her for a weekend. I know she will be missed by all who knew her.

As we look back over time We find ourselves wondering ..... Did we remember to thank you enough For all you have done for us? For all the times you were by our sides To help and support us ..... To celebrate our successes To understand our problems And accept our defeats? Or for teaching us by your example, The value of hard work, good judgement, Courage and integrity? We wonder if we ever thanked you For the sacrifices you made. To let us have the very best? And for the simple things Like laughter, smiles and times we shared? If we have forgotten to show our Gratitude enough for all the things you did, We're thanking you now. And we are hoping you knew all along, How much you meant to us. May you find comfort in the arm of an angel.
