Judith M. Smith (nee Malinowski), age 63, of Merrillville, IN, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024. Judy loved spending time with her husband of thirty-eight years Ken, her children, and her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and loved the holidays. She was the happiest when surrounded by family and her pets. Judy adored her small dogs and the family cat, as well as watching and interacting with the wildlife outside.
Judith is survived by her husband, Kenneth L. Smith; children: Jaqueline Smith, Charles Smith; grandchildren: Alyssa and Zachary Mitchuson; brothers: Richard (Gail) Malinowski, sisters: Jean (Dan) Marszalik, Barbara Connolly; sister-in-law, Henryka Malinowski; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents: Vincent and Juanita Malinowski; brothers: John Malinowski, Charles Malinowski, and Joseph Malinowski; sister, Juanita Mason; and brother-in-law, Eugene Connolly.
