Jerry & Family, I met Judy at Bagels & Beans. Even though it was for a short period of time, it was truly an honor to have known this GREAT LADY. She was an inspiration, always upbeat with a smile for everyone she would meet. Judy will be missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing her. Heaven has gained a BRIGHT & SHINING STAR. With Deepest Sympathy, Cindy Elliott

Dear Janda Family, We are so sorry for the loss of your beloved Judy. We have cherished her company, laughter, and beautiful spirit over the years. Her unconditional love for absolutely everyone around her was something we loved most about her. She was the mother I always wanted. When I told her that, she said, You can count on that, Kiddo. We love you guys. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, The Ritter Family
Todd and Jacci Carey left a message on February 24, 2010:
Janda family, We are heart broken for all of you. No words can express the grief we share with all who knew her. Judy was a remarkable woman who always went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Todd and I enjoyed every precious moment we shared with her. My boys certainly loved Grandma Judy, also. Nathan and Jacob will certainly miss her perfectly baked cookies. Anytime we were invited to join your family, my boys asked if Grandma Judy was baking cookies! I know personally, some of my best spent moments with Judy were spent at Jim and Tammy's table, having a glass of wine and talking about how it was our year for the Cubs! Judy was so wonderful to Todd, treating him like an honorary son. The coming days will be hard, but we will be there with you every step of the way, should you need us. Take comfort in knowing what an amazing woman your wife and mother was. She made such an impact on us. We pray for peace, grace, and faith for you. We love you!
