JUANITA (NEE SHOTTS) ST. GERMAIN age 79 of Valparaiso formerly of Merrillville lost her battle to ovarian cancer on Tuesday March 13 2012. She is survived by seven children: Robert St. Germain of Merrillville Donnie (Kelly) St. Germain of Houston Gregg (Tina) St. Germain of Chesterton Gary (Maggie) St. Germain of Hebron Jeff St. Germain of Merrillville Brett (Julie) St. Germain of Valparaiso Nicole (Mathew) Siecker of Valparaiso fourteen grandchildren: Eric Josh Morgan Madelyn Steven Andrew Thomas Robert Kristin Samuel Amber Bryce and Mia St. Germain Addison Siecker great-grandson: Jackson St. Germain sister: Irene Gasper of Valparaiso. Preceded in death by parents: Mary and Robert Shotts Juanita was a graduate of Emerson High School. She was a former member of St. Lukes and St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Churches. Her passion in life was cooking and taking care of her family. Juanita was the ultimate sports mom. Her thoughtfulness and generosity touched all of those she knew. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville on Friday March 16 2012 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday March 17 2012 at 11:30 at Pruzin Brothers Chapel. Cremation to follow services.

Greg Tina and family I am so sorry to hear about your mom. Greg I dont really know your mother but I DO know you. You are such a wonderful person and your family so loving. I know that comes from a loving home and a wonderful mothers love for her family. My prayers are with you all.

Your mom was a real sweetheart. She was also a great neighbor and a good friend to my mom. When ever she heard me working at my moms she would bring me some food and a beer. She knew the way to my heart. I will miss her. Marty Hyde

My condolences to all the family. Your mother was a great woman. I always enjoyed visiting with her and having a good time and laughing. I really enjoyed talking with her when my family and I were in Valpo for the recent holidays.
