Joshua R. Prunsky, age 12, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Children's Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with brain cancer. I did not know Josh, but came across his caringbridge site and have read it religiously. I am so sorry for your loss...I can feel your pain, yet I don't know either of you. Reading your journals has brought tears to my eyes..Your son has touched lives of people he has never met, and so have you, Jennifer. I have never met Josh, but have followed along with prayers and thoughts by Miss Sue's blog.I have heard about him, whether it be at Suncrest in sermons, or from my friend who knew Josh, as her husband had brain cancer last year as well. Or even here in Crown Point. He seemed always in the air. But, what I do know- is that as a mother of 3 sons, Josh was an extraordinary child. Such a beautiful boy. A Sweet son. A good friend. A simple soul. Just a great person. And, a blessing to us all who have been touched in so many countless ways by his life. This bible verse felt like it could have directly come from Josh, and also reminds me, of how much we can and have learned from him. From his sweet short life.
