Josephine Stewart

Josephine Stewart nee Hill, age 94, of Bloomingdale, IL, formerly of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2009. She is survived by her son, John Lauren Stewart of Schaumburg, IL, grandchildren, Sara and Robert Stewart and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert and daughter, Elizabeth Stewart. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre NOTE: NEW LOCATION- 2 blocks east of Broadway at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN, with Rev. Dave Vosseller officiating. Interment at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point, IN from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Mrs. Stewart was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Crown Point. She was active in Questers Antiquing Organization, belonged to a bridge club, was the community organizer of Save the Courthouse group to restore it and was active in other causes around Crown Point.
