JOSE CADAVID age 92 of Merrillville formerly of Gary passed away Tuesday May 30 2006. Survived by 2 children: Joseph (Anne) Cadavid of Des Plaines IL and Diane Phelan of Atlanta GA 6 grandchildren: Sheral (Todd) Howe Joseph M. (Mary) Cadavid Andrea (Corey) Williams Carmen Cadavid Gina Cadavid Jacqlyn Phelan 7 great grandchildren a brother and sister in Spain numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Emily. Jose was retired from U.S. Steel Gary Works Merchant Mill after 46 years of service a member of the former Spanish Society a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post #430. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville Sunday from 2-8 p.m. Legion service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday June 5 2006 at 11:30 a.m. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Rev. Andrew Corona officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery Merrillville. Memorials preferred to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
