A wild spirit is
often misunderstood.
Others may think he’s
lost, when in truth, he was
simply roaming free.
It is with our deepest regrets that we would like to announce the untimely passing of Jonathan Perry Mickey. Jon was born on May 23, 1991 and expired all too soon on June 16, 2020; he was 29 years old. He graduated from Lowell High School in 2010.
Jon, known as Mick in some circles, will forever be remembered as the son who was the baby of the family, the littlest brother who gave the best hugs and did the best Cornholio impersonation at the age of 3, and a tenacious local thrasher around town during his childhood. In the past few years, he also climbed the ranks as an online gamer known as MickMurk.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maurice and Marion Mickey. He is survived by grandparents, William and Carole Panozzo; parents, Perry and Pamela Mickey; his son, Carter; his most trusted companion, JAX; his siblings, Joseph Mickey, Dana Warn (Adam Dewey), Jaime Barick (Steve), and Tiffany Kirk (Greg); nieces and nephews, Connor Powers, Carson Powers, Zofia Barick, Avys Richardson, Eden Richardson, Caroline Kirk, and Kate Kirk; aunts and uncles, Scott and Tina Booker, Ron Furtyo, and Marilyn and Dan Spriggs; plus cousins, Jeremy Booker, Daniel Booker, Jaclyn Booker, and John Swinford.
Thank you to all of you that have taken the time to reach out to our family with encouraging words and thoughtful memories about our beloved Jon.
A private Celebration of Life will take place.
Until we meet again, Jonny Boy…
