To The Babincsak Family: I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember John taking us boys on some wild van rides down Colorado St., hitting that bump, and we would go flying everywhere. It wasn't probably the safest thing but that's how I will remember John always having fun with the boys. God Bless. Sincerely, Scott Volk

My sincere condolences to the Babincsak Family. I had the privilege to meet and work with John while managing the sugar account in his area. He was not only a broker of our account but a friend. John would give the shirt off his back and not expect anything in return. He truely loved his sons and spoke about they often. John was a passionate person who will be missed by many.

John, We will so miss your energy, your humor and your kindness. Who was a better friend than you were? Always there to help us when we needed you to be there. And never expecting or wanting anything in return. There have to be horses in heaven or how could it be called heaven; find yourself a great one and ride like the wind. Love, Betty and Pam

John Lindsay left a message on January 2, 2009:
To John??s Family: I am deeply sorry to hear of Johns passing. When I was first informed of the news I immediately remembered all the great times spent on the baseball diamond playing ball with his son Jarrett. John was a very vocal fan and that is what I loved the most about him being in the stands. He loved the game and he always encouraged you to do your best. Plus he was always good for $10 if you hit a homer, ha. That was a long time ago yet they are still some of my favorite memories. It would not have been the same with out him. He will truly be missed and my deepest sympathies go out to all of you.
Mose & Sharon Carter left a message on January 2, 2009:
To the family of John Babincsak, John was an incredible and wonderful loving man who not only touched my life, but also the lives of many others. I remember my first encounter with John in 1994 at Gold??s gym. He came in with what seemed like an entourage of young boys of whom he trained and spent a great deal of time with. By the way John treated those boys, one would think they were all his sons when in fact only two of them were. I later discovered that day to be much like every other day with John because giving unselfishly of himself was something he did often. John was not only faithful, but also very committed to those young boys and made sure to give them his all. Over the years, John and I had become very good friends. He even bought me my first hunting rifle and personally took me hunting. It was John and Lisa that I shared a special evening with the night I proposed to my wife. I have so many fond memories of John and I could go on and on, but what I remember most and what will forever be in my heart is how he had such a warm smile, a kind heart and loving ways. I thank God that John sincerely wanted to learn more about Him. I also thank God that John chose to be a member of True Worship Christian Center, and to say that he will be sadly missed by all is an understatement. Affectionately, Mose & Sharon Carter

To John's Family: It is with great sadness in hearing of John's passing. My condolences to his family and friends. May the Lord watch over him the way he watched and cared about many on this earth. John and I hit it off the first time we met in the 70's, since we were two of a kind. You always knew where you stood with John, he was a straight shooter. As honest as they come. His heart was full of caring and he reached out to others. His passion for animals was just as strong. Aggressive, you bet. There was nothing too large that he would not tackle. When I would come back to Indiana he always took the time out of his busy schedule to hook up. Friends forever. John, you will be missed. See you down the road. Friends forever. May we all CELEBRATE his LIFE.

Dear Lisa and sons, We were deeply shocked and saddened to hear of John's passing. We will always remember him with great fondness and respect. We remember how whenever John spoke of his children, you never doubted how proud he was of his boys. John was quite the character in the Lakes of the Four Seasons community! Once you got past the gruff exterior, you discovered what an exceptionally kind person he was. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We hope that knowing how much people care about you will be of some comfort to you now and in the years to come.

I pray for a peaceful journey for John. He was a straight shooter and a stand up man. I will always be thankful I had the opportunity to have him as a friend. I think he would appreciate a note on the lighter side, so that being said - I vow to you, John, that I'll give Pantene a chance. You will be missed and you will be remembered.

Steve & Lisa Rogers left a message on January 1, 2009:
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of John's family and loved ones. John was a special person to all those who knew him. His compassion for people and the animals that he cared for only proved that his heart was as big and giving as the majestic outdoors he loved. There was no hidden agenda with his personal relationships. If he appeared to like you, he honestly did. His entusiasm for his work, his love for nature, and his eagerness to love and be loved are all part of what made John special. Selfishly I must say, I am sad because Lisa and I have lost a good friend. Steve and Lisa Rogers
