JoAnn Aydelotte (nee Cox), age 92, a longtime resident of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023.

JoAnn is survived by her children: Yvonne (Mark) Haley, Lisa (Joel) Garrett, James (Kathy) Aydelotte; grandchildren: Melissa, Karen, Jacob, Megan, Alex, Aaron, Abby; great-grandchildren: Hannah, Ryan, Adrienne, Evan, Violet.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, James Aydelotte; parents: William and Clara Cox; and brother, Herbert Cox.

JoAnn graduated from Emerson High School in Gary, IN. She worked many years for the phone company until her retirement in 1990. JoAnn loved quilting and won ribbons at the Lake County Fair.
JoAnn will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, January 8, 2024, at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 8303 W Taft St, Merrillville, IN 46410 with Fr. Kevin Huber officiating.

Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.
