JANINE LAURIE, age 51 of Crown Point, formerly of Chicago Heights, IL, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013. Survived by her fiance’, Kevin Marion; children: Michelle Laurie of Crown Point, Carl Laurie of MI, Jamie (Dan) Ruiz of Munster, IN, Jaclyn Marion of North Judson, IN; grandchildren: Elijah, Jeremiah, Mia, Veronica, Meila, Hayden and K.J.; two brothers: James Laird of Indianapolis, William (Joan) Laird of WI. Preceded in death by infant son, James William Laurie. Janine was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Crown Point and Life Bridge Christian Church of Valparaiso. She was an Employee Training Coordinator for Cracker Barrel Restaurant, Merrillville for 17 years. Janine was a graduate of Bloom Twp. High School, Chicago Heights, IL. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 22, 2013 DIRECTLY from Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 250 S. Indiana Ave., Crown Point at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. David Kipp officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to services at the church. Services entrusted to Pruzin & Little Funeral Service, Crown Point. At rest Maplewood Memorial Cemetery, Crown Point, IN with Pastor Pete Kersker presiding.
