She is survived by husband of 51 years, Ronald; son, James (Christina) Foster, daughter, Jennifer (Chuck Kilgore) Foster; three grandchildren: James Foster Jr., Justin Foster, and Andrew St. Cyr. Preceded in death by parents, James and Helen Atkosh; sister, Leona Galambus.
Janet was a graduate of Lew Wallace High School, class of 1961. She was a retired operator from Orville Redenbacher Popcorn.
Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway, Merrillville) on Sunday from 2:00-6:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Pastor Roger Foster officiating. At rest, Calvary Cemetery.
