Janet Lynn Pierce

Janet Lynn Pierce (nee Kabella) loving mother and wife, was born February 4, 1951, passed away February 8, 2024, aged seventy-three.

Janet was a graduate of Crown Point High School class of 1969. She is survived by Jeffrey, her husband of 53 years; three sons: Chris (Stephanie), Brad (Kandy), and Don (Matt); six grandchildren: Asia, Autumn (Tad), Nate, Maddie, Tyler (Jami), and Mason; as well as two great grandchildren: Maverick and Ace.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents: John and Elvah Kabella; brothers: Warren and John; and sisters: Beverly and Sharon.

Janet was an avid gardener and hole-in-one golfer who loved spending time with her family and many cocker spaniels.

In lieu of services, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in her name.

Debbie and I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to you, Jeff and your family for your loss of your loving wife, Janet. May she rest in peace.

Janet was my Junior High School(Taft),"Bestie". 💔 My tears reflect ALL the good times we had in the mid 60's. We had SO much fun walking from Ridge Street to the Square for Movies @ "The Show", meeting friends(Sherry,Debbie U. & Trent). Walking to "Lloyds" to buy B.B.Q.chips, pop & bubble gum for sleep overs on Ridge Street. We'd play Records (45's) & she could sing like Elvis! So many giggles.💌 I'm so happy to have known Janet & that she met the love of her life, Jeff. Janet has always had love in her heart. Healing HUGS to their Families' & friends. REST IN PEACE WITH LOVE.

I remember Janet from Crown Point High school. We both graduated in 1969. She was a very nice gal . Jeff and Janet lived around the corner from us for years. My thoughts and prayers go out for her family.

Jeff, Chris, Brad and Don, Dennis and I are so sorry for your loss, may you find peace in the love and memories you have of her. Thinking of her today and remembering all the crazy fun times we all had together. Synchronized swimming, many late night pool parties, such fun get togethers at the ball fields and each others homes.
