JANET L. MUSITELLI (nee Kingery) age 76 of Portage, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. She was born in 1943 in Jacksonville, Illinois to George & Helen Kingery.

Janet was a graduate of East Gary Edison High School, Class of 1961 and then went on to work for The Anderson Company in 1962 and retired after 40 years of service. She was an avid bowler and loved the good ole Rock n’ Roll music. Janet loved her family and especially loved going to Aunt Veda’s house on the first Monday of every month for dinner. She was asked by hospital staff what advice she had for the younger generation and her answer was, “Stick with family.”

Janet was preceded in death by her father George Kingery and mother Helen Kingery (nee Spradlin); mom Helen Kingery (nee Wracher); brothers Ronald and Bryan Kingery. Janet is survived by her three sons who were the loves of her life: Troy Kingery, Rodney Seibel, and William “Bill” Seibel; granddaughter Meranda Seibel; brother Ernie (Sandy) Kingery; five sisters: Marlene Hoopingarner, Sharon (Tom) Cox, Debra (Mark) Hayes, Beverly Kingery, Cristine (David) Bobrowski, many nieces, nephews, and good friends. A very special Thank You goes to her friend Sheila Ferguson for loving and caring for Janet so kindly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
