JAMES W. JimBYRLEY age 81 of Merrillville IN passed away Wednesday January 13 2010. Survived by his wife of 46 years Janice (nee Burress) three children: Dan (Shirley) Crum of Knoxville TN Gina (Rick) Pear of Crown Point Jim (Hope) Byrley of Merrillville 15 grandchildren nine great grandchildren two brothers: Russell Byrley of Highland and Dan Crum of AZ two sisters: Wilma Van Meter of IN and Mary (Lester) Cobb of AL several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son James A. Byrley parents William and Eathie Byrley. Jim attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – Hebron Ward. He retired from North American Philips Consumer Electronics and was a licensed electronic technician. Jim was the owner of Jims T.V. Service and loved to work with electronics and his computers. Jim was an Army veteran of the Korean War having served with the 7th Cavalry. He also loved playing cards and telling you what was to happen in the futureand of course he loved his bologna sandwiches. Hebron with High Priest Mark Burress officiating. Visitation from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to service. At rest Memory Lane Cemetery Schererville.
