James D. Reisinger “Jim”, age 72, of Hebron, IN, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago, IL. He is survived by his wife: Linda of 50 years; son: Tim Shannon Reisinger of Valparaiso, IN; daughter: Kim Tom Zacek of Hebron, IN; grandchildren: Jeremy Lindsey Reisinger of Chicago, IL, Hillary Reisinger of Valparaiso, IN, and Breann Roeske of Hebron, IN; great-grandson: Treyton; brother: Robert Patricia Reisinger of Valparaiso, IN and sister: Janet Maxwell of Valrico, FL. Preceded in death by parents: Stanley “Jack” and Elsie Reisinger. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 9, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Geisen Funeral Home, Hebron with Rev. Tom Shanahan and Richard Merrian officiating. Interment at Hebron Cemetery in Hebron, IN. Visitation will be held at the Geisen Funeral Home, 624 N. Main, Hebron, IN on Sunday, February 8, 2009 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM. Mr. Reisinger was retired from U.S. Steel with 43 years of service. Jim graduated from Boone Grove High School Class of 1954 and was involved in the Alumni at Boone Grove. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Prentice Women's Hospital at Northwestern, 250 E. Linda, Donna & I wanted to be there for visitation and funeral but I ended up with such a terrible cold that I couldn't even get out of the house Saturday or Sunday.
