JAKE APPLETON age 25 of Dyer formerly of Merrillville passed away Wednesday March 23 2011. Survived by wife Christina (nee Srisuwananukorn) mother Anne Appleton of Merrillville brother Andrew Appleton of Merrillville mother & father-in-law Phanit & Dr. Sompop Srisuwananukorn of Dyer brothers-in-law Charles & Andrew Srisuwananukorn of Dyer sister-in-law Michelle Srisuwananukorn of Dyer grandfather Paul Jacobs of Merrillville and uncle Steve (Lynne) Jacobs of LaPorte. Preceded in death by father Keith Appleton and uncle Charles Appleton. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway Merrillville) on Sunday from 2-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held Monday March 28 2011 at 11:00 A.M. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Linda Aimone officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery Merrillville.

I use to work with Jake at Hollister. I havent seen Jake in quite a few years but always wondered how he was doing. He was a great friend. I started to search for him on the internet in january with no luck. I decided to try again today and i found this obituary and prayed it wasnt his. I just wanted to find him to catch up and say hi and to tell him i just got married and to see where his life had taken him...i cant believe this. I didnt even get to say hi.... Jake you were an amazing man. A gentle giant. I have never forgotten you and never will...i am blessed to have known you. Love ya buddy.
