Stories about my Dad are wonderful to hear, thank you for sharing! I would love to hear more. I would like to thank Carlisles Funeral Home, again, for an extraordinary and very compassionate job with my Dad's arrangements. Mom & I went to the cemetary today and put out a huge triple mum (three colors in a big pot.) The grave site has been readied for the headstone which is on order and will be here in about 4 weeks. It still is a shock to think about, does not seem possible that my wonderful Dad is gone. I adored him, my kids adored him, and my husband found a good friend in him. One thing I will always remember is when he heard me on the phone, he was so chipper, cheerful, and enthusiastic, like he was so glad that that I called. The same when we went to his and my mom's house, while she usually wants to know if you've eaten yet and if she could get you anything, he always perk up from his spot on the couch and came out to the kitched eager to talk and visit, he always made you feel welcome and like he appreciated seeing you. We sure appreciated seeing him and having him in our lives. I'd be reeling if I didn't have the tons of memories that we have of him right now, we loved him dearly~ Daughter Lori, Patrick & Family

I have fond memories of our neighbors, the Marriott family, and my friend Pat's big brother. I am still a teacher here in South Bend, and still own the old home place. My granddaughter lives there. I want to express my deepest regrets at your loss. I would love to hear from you at Beverle@aol.com. God bless you.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

It was a great privilege to sit next to Jack during our years on the credit union board. I looked up to him for his vision and dedication to both education and the credit union. I will always remember when Arnie, Jack and I realized that we were making all of the suggestions for policy and future directions of the CU. When we chided the rest of the board members, they started sharing their visions too. All of a sudden, the burden of responsibility for decision making was lifted off of our shoulders and was shared by the rest of the board. We both smiled about the improvement. He was a great guy, and I have missed my relationship with him since my retirement from the board.
