JACK D. KOOISTRA age 63 of Crown Point passed away Tuesday June 27 2006. Survived by wife Sandra (Staab) of 40 years having celebrated their anniversary in May son Kenneth Kooistra of Lafayette IN daughter Wendy (Norman) Brennan of Fishers IN grandson Ryan Brennan mother Helen Kaleck Kooistra (Arthur) Schroeder of Crown Point brother George (Carol) Kooistra of Brazil IN formerly of Lowell. Preceded in death by father Albert Kooistra and brother Gene Kooistra. Jack was a retired electrician from Bethlehem Steel Co. With 30 years of service a graduate of Lowell High School class of 1960 a Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict a member of USWA Local 6787 and SOAR a past Vice President of Bethlehem Steel Credit Union Board of Directors and a member of American Legion Post 20. Friends may gather to share a remembrance with the family at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service 811 East Franciscan Drive (on State Road 55 south of State Road 231) Crown Point one hour prior to a Memorial Service which will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday July 1 2006 with Pastor Gary Butler.
