Hubert Minniti, of Merrillville, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2010. Hubert is survived by 1 brother, Albert Jean Minniti of Tampa, FL; 2 sisters: Judy Erfurth of Merrillville, IN and Irene McKenna of Tampa, FL; 1 brother-in-law, Frank Erfurth of Gary, IN; and many nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Lusie Minniti; brothers: Joseph, Robert, and twin brother, Humbert; and sister, Florence Erfurth. Private funeral services will be held Thursday, January 14, 2010 with interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Friends may visit with the family at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN on Wednesday, January 13th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Hubert was a WWII veteran, having proudly served in the U.S. Navy, and was a member of the American Legion Post 430 & V.F.W. Post 1563. He retired from U.S. Steel Gary Works Production Planning Department and was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Church in Merrillville.
